We have DH's old trumpet in the closet. His mom said she wanted it back so she could garage sale it, but DH said no it's his and we are keeping it. That way if I decide I want to play for homecoming one of these years I have an instrument.

That's kind of crappy to be like I want it back so I can pretty much give it away. :/

I played all the saxs and some flute and clarinet in middle and high school before I changed schools. Also sang in choir. In the super small town I lived in that was the only way to play no way to get lessons or anything and when I got older I was way more into JROTC and color guard, student government, FHA and FFA.
