Where to take a 15 month old

I'm trying to think of a free place our babysitter can take my young son where it isn't germ city. We are trying to paint our house to sell it. Usually my daughter is here too, but she's at Grandma's and my son will be bored and trying to visit us and get into the paint. Our house is close to everything and she will have our car. The weather is too rainy to be outside. The library opens at 12, but she gets here at 9:30. I'm thinking Science Museum but that isn't free. We have a membership but we'd have to pay for her. Is there some free place I'm not thinking of?
