RS Mamas

I'm getting ready to buy my first RS. I'm gonna be using it for DD2. She'll be 7 months tomorrow is about 19 pounds.

I'm looking for some good carries.

We currently use a gira sz 7 to wrap in which we love.

Re: RS Mamas

I didn't find the ring sling love until I got a wrap conversion. They are pretty easy to find on the fsot boards on tbw. Now I love them!

Smile Re: RS Mamas

I had a hand me down Maya Ring sling which work while she was little but as she got heavier the rings began to slip and it dug. I didn't have much faith when my friend gifted my my first Ring Sling conversion by Sleeping Baby Productions from Paxbaby.com. I didn't see how it would be different. Oh. My. Goodness! It was night and day for us. The ring was so secure because of the way the woven material grabbed. And because of the weave of the woven her weight was really supported and distributed amongst the tension of the weave. Just like you get when you wrap. If you are looking for one you can either order a ready made or even buy a wrap piece from paxbaby and then send in the wrap to be converted by Jan at Sleeping Baby Productions. I totally think they are worth the extra bit.
