Re: Anyone else leave their childbearing up to God?

I loved reading this thread! My name is Tawny and we have not made the choice to leave our childbearing up to God. Although, we do feel ultimately it is always up to God reguardless of our choices. I have to say though that I am really entriged and am loving the idea of freely giving up everything (including the number of children) up to God. Having that kind of trust in the Lord must feel amazing! I really want more children, Lord willing, but my husband is not in the same place. I think DH's main concern is not having enough energy/time for more kids. DH is 37 and I am 35 and our age concerns him. After reading all of your encouraging words I'm ready to completely leave it up to God. Will one of you ladies pray for us? I would really appriciate it.

Re: Anyone else leave their childbearing up to God?

Hi Christina! I'm Karrie. Thanks for starting this thread. My husband and I are trusting the Lord with our family too. Many of our friends as well as unsaved family think it is crazy to just leave it up to Him. I think it is crazy to try to take the driver's seat. I know what a fantastic job I did of things when I was driving! God is good. I am blessed to be a mother of three for now.

Going back and rereading some of this thread--- I was unwanted, too. My parents haven't spoken to me in 9 years. I just needed to see this sentence you wrote, to be reminded that I am loved by the perfect Father. THANK YOU.

And I used to live in Petal, MS!!! It's a small world.
