Well I'm officially back in "training mode". This weekend I'm supposed to run 8. Ugh, it's been a LONG time since I've run that far. Hope my legs hold out!

I am going to jump right in, I hope that is okay (?)

Saturday I ran my first ever 15k (1:29:39)
My training is for the 1/2 marathon
not sure what program it is to be honest!

The closest thing I found when I just searched is Hal Higdon's intermediate schedule

Of course it's okay to jump in.

Good for you!!! Completing a 15k is awesome. If you can do a 15k, you can do a 1/2 marathon. Mind over matter!

Was a hot run last week. Almost 90 degrees but I did it! Going for another 8 today but the weather is much nicer. Hopefully it will make it more enjoyable!

it was downright chilly here for this morning's run,
but I did 5 miles in 45:32
I am hoping that my foot feels just as good in the morning so I can keep it going
