It's been a while since I've used cloth, we ended up switching our now potty learned 2.5y/o DD to sposies after a year of battling constant painful rashes.
So it's been a while since I've explored my options.LO6 is due in March and we have decided to do Kissaluv fitteds with covers for the newb phase, until she/he can fit into a OS pocket diaper. Dh requested that I keep it simple and affordable (I got carried away with LO5, 10 million different diapers in all sorts of price ranges and it confused the poor guy.) I know every baby will react to certain diapers differently so I may have to buy a few different brands & see what works best. What I'm looking for from my fellow DS mamas are recs on what's available now. ![]() We want affordable, dependable, decent quality one size pocket dipes. I used Kawaii a little with DD, and if I remember correctly they had a thicker microfleece inner that I didn't really care much for? It seemed to get pilly pretty quick? Am I thinking of the wrong dipe? I had so many, it's possible! So, what say you, DS ladies!? (and gents!)

I like BG4.0 and we do have some Kawaiis. The pure and naturals that run smaller and fit 6-22lbs have suede cloth inner and I think their regular OS heavy duty version is suede cloth instead of fleece too... They've held up well for us so far.

Re: Affordable, Dependable, OS Pocket Recs?
Kawaii has both options available, fleece which pills quite a bit and suedecloth which stays soft for the most part. For China diapers, they are really nice.
BumGenius 4.0 are great too and stay nice after many, many uses.

Re: Affordable, Dependable, OS Pocket Recs?
I love Sunbaby 4.0
They fit great with the hip snaps and the fleece inner is comfy for DS. He hasn't had one rash or any redness at all and he's been using them full time for about 5 weeks. |

Sunbaby and BG make up most of my stash. I bought the BG for about the price of Sunbaby and refreshed them. The main reason I like BG is for the aplix (dh's requirement)
I do have some kawaiis but I found I don't love minky and that's what I have. I also have several alvas that have held up really well too!!

Re: Affordable, Dependable, OS Pocket Recs?
I've really loved our Sunbaby's, honestly. I have to destash my whole stash and I'm so sad, but my DD is a super heavy wetter and we need to change to fitteds. I've been using these Sunbaby's for almost a year and they are great.
