No way the smalls would fit a NB, but the XS are great. Flip covers *might* fit but probably won't fit well until around 10 pounds. My kiddos have all been over 8 pounds at birth but the newborns were definitely necessary until about 10 pounds. The legs are really the issue as they have such scrawny chicken legs until they put on some weight.

Anyone tried graham bear wear I'd love to have a wahm stash. I'm just trying to cloth a NB as easily and cheaply as possible! I'll probably get blueberry covers and some gmd fitteds too.

smalls will probably be too big at first- they arent' that small(; the xs's are good- some other good options are swaddlebees, bumgenius, maybe thirsties with prefolds if you are going that route.
