Yes, it's a 'secret' group. No one outside the group can see any info about it.

I'm not about being friends with everyone. Can I join the group without friending you? Sorry. I have a job that I have to be really careful about being friends with ppl I don't actually know.

I can totally relate! What you can do is unfriend
her as soon as you join the group. That is what I did and I know no one will take offense
