So I just got my ultrasound yesterday to make sure everything was still ok since I had had some bleeding last week and it was great

, saw my little bean and a very strong HB at 168. Was wondering if (just for fun cause I won't even be getting another US to find out want it to be a surprise) but if anyone had stories of HB and gender. I know my son was always around 150 and all my girls were in the 160's so thinking this may be ANOTHER one

but also didn't know if maybe it changes as the baby gets bigger and further along (cause I'm only 8 weeks and 2 days) Am just asking for fun and realize I can't know for sure so please be nice

My son REAlly wants a brother so am really just thinking of him

It was wrong for my boys...they all had HIGH hbs...160s-170s the whole time. Same with my mom...mine was low, brother was high

At least two of my boys had "girls" heartbeats. Most of my friends' babies have proved this untrue as well.

All my kids, regardless of gender are in the 160's!

My boys were high...in the 160's up until the last month. Then they were in the 140s.

It wasn't true for all of my kids. I did read that if you check it before 9 wks it is more likely accurate. I can't remember what this baby was though at my 7 wk u/s

My boys were always really high (160s-170s). So not true here!

Our son's HB was always between 140-160 (I can't remember exactly, but I think mostly in the 160's), so we thought we might have a girl, but were surprised to learn we were expecting a boy! So, definitely not true for us!
