would this be good as a first mei tai??

Okay so a mom is selling a wcmt that I think is just beautiful and this would be my first mei tai. Would this be a good one for me to start with? I only own a sling and rs so don't know what I'm looking at lol

I love Mei Tai's and that one is beautiful!! It would be a great one to start with if you like the way it looks! The only problem you might have is that some mamas prefer padded straps with mei tai's when their babies get a little heavier, but there is no way to know what you would prefer until you try them out! I like it because what I really want is a woven wrap but I'm to intimidated by them so I thought this would be good alternative lol

If you never tried a MT before I'd get one that was cheaper. A Kozy Carrier MT is under $100 and they are really nice. Padded shoulders too.

well I was looking at wcmt because what I really want is a woven wrap but I really don't know if I'd be able to pull off wrapping one. this is the one that I fell in love with lol but since I know nothing about wraps I don't know if it would be good as a starter one or if bamboo in a wrap is even a good thing

Wrapping with a woven and using a WCMT aren't the same. Many WCMTs aren't made with the woven on the inside so you won't get that same woven feel. Both are wrapping in a way though, so if you want a woven I think you should go for it, especially since they'd be around the same price.
