5 out of 6 of mine were tummy sleepers from birth. my 2 yr old didn't sleep as well like that but that's how everyone else slept best

In my opinion it's not worth the fight. If your child can roll himself over he is safe to sleep that way. Just make sure your crib (or where ever he sleeps) is free of anything lose or dangerous. So bumpers can be dangerous, lots of blankets, toys/stuffed animals ect... Trust your mommy instinct. If you think he's fine don't worry over it!

My pediatrician said the same. We laid them down on their backs, but both rolled and tummy slept around this time
