My niece asked if the next time her little sister came over could we dump her off at an orphanage while sleeping and never return.

My 7 year old DS was chasing some cute little girls around after church last week. We finally had to leave and he turned to DH and said "I am SO in love!"

Yesterday I was brushing dds hair and she said to me "do it to a bad guy, not me. I'm a good guy, do it to a bad guy!"

Today ds is eating an apple and says "is the peel called skin? Why is it skin, cause its skin from dead people?" (lol!)

Ds said something else so funny to me yesterday it's killing me that I can't remember

These are so great...

This literally just happened. DS 4 is sitting here eating lunch. He is very much into drilling me with math questions right now. He holds up two fingers on one hand and one on the other and says, "What's 2 plus 1?"

Me: 3
DS: What's 3 plus 3?
Me: 6
DS: What's 6 plus 6?
Me: 12
DS: What's 12 plus 12?
Me: 24
DS: What's 24 plus 24?
Me: 48
DS: What's 48 plus 48?
Me: 96
DS: What's 96 plus 8 and a half? (as he stares at me, one eyebrow cocked...) GOTCHA!!!

All from DS (2.5 yrs old)

Me: what do you want to eat for lunch?
DS: Peanut Butter poop!

Last night he pulled my shirt up to look at my belly. He says:
"Mommy, my new sister, Holland Ivy, is in your tummy"...pause..."your belly button getting so big!"
Geez, thanks Kid!

Re: What have they said to you lately?

I love threads like this!!

DD is 16 months and only says a few words. One thing she did last week that totally melted my heart though was I said "Addie, give Mommy a kiss." She leaned over and gave me a big kiss on the lips and even made the "muah" sound.

Completely made my day!

Re: What have they said to you lately?

YDD (19) mos and DS (4 y/o) just woke up from their naps. I'm sitting here w/DS, and YDD starts trying to kiss him, rubbing his face, giggling, giving him hugs. He keeps telling her "no" and trying to turn away. So I say, "Aw, she just wants to snuggle with you!"

So he reaches out to touch her, and his hand goes on her neck, and he immediately pulls away, and looks at me and says, "Mom, she's SLIMY.""

BWHAHAHA!
