Used these for about 1 month while my little one was too small for her Alva's. these fit great and contained perfect on newborn skinny and then chunky thighs .
I would say 8lbs was when I started using them.
In VGUC, 2 snaps on each of the dark pink are broke, but just the outside, still function great. Stains on a few, nothing huge and I did not try to sun out.
No inserts.
