Flour Sack Towels as Flats?

I've heard tons of ppl suggest this. My questions:

How do they work? Are they absorbant, durable? Does. A snappie hold them?

How much do they cost? I would be getting them from Walmart. Where (what department) at Walmart can you find them?

Thanks!!

They work just like flats. They are great day diapers for my dd. they do snappi well and hold up well. I got them on the kitchen towel section in Walmart. They were less than a dollar each.

Re: Flour Sack Towels as Flats?

Well, I cant help when it comes to absorbancy or snappi use, since I havent gotten to use mine yet (ds isn't due to arrive for 6 more weeks). But, I do know they cost about $1 each (usually packages of 4 or 6 for $4 or $6). They are found in the kitched towel section.

Yup we use these for daytime and love them. They hold a snappi well and I will also use them as inserts for pockets also. I will also padfold with a microfiber towel from the car section ( i think they are like under $10 for 8 of them or something) and use them for naptime also with no leaks I love them. So easy to wash and they dry SUPER fast!
