Re: Nov Chat - Aug '11 babies
oh my aching head! lol we had AWANA tonight (a bible club for K-6th graders) and tonight was Store Night. They earn points by bringing their uniforms, books, bibles and saying verses out of their handbook. then, on store night, they get to cash in their points at our store. we had some really nice things donated by people from church and the kids really had a lot of fun. BUT, I got corraled into organizing the store this year whereas usually I just assist.
it was fun, but I was out at church from 2 until club started at 6 then not home til 8 with sydney. we also had 50 kids this week, the most yet. I think last year if everyone had come we would have had 40, so this is a huge group of kids for us. and boy were they loud! so yeah, I am going to bed, like now. ![]() weight is going really good. scale said 307.6 today, and that was after eating lunch, so I was pretty excited. I think I will scream when I get below 300. and celebrate with a tub of ice cream. lol just kidding! that would be terrible...but oh so tempting. I never realised how much I turn to food when I'm feeling....well...just about anything. I'm bored, let's eat; I'm tired, let's eat; I'm crabby, let's eat; I'm happy, let's eat. like wow, bad. so, i'm workign on finding different ways to cope and reward myself. welp, good night ladies!

Re: Nov Chat - Aug '11 babies
Jen sorry about the family!!!!! Ugh so frustrating!
Naomi--I love to eat but I had to figure out how to do it I wanted to keep doing it and keep my girlish figure (sarcasim of course) Ice cream--freeze babnanas and then put them in a blender or food processor with a little bit of milk--I use Almond and it tastes like Ice Cream or I just get a pint of coconut milk Ice cream. Same with milkshakes. I have others but I have to take the kiddos to school and get a COFFEE!!!!!!

I try to buy ice cream in servings. Like ice cream sandwiches, etc. that way I can't just eyeball a whole bowl as 1 "serving".
And a total plus is Trader Joes soy sandwiches because they are 1/2 the normal size. Perfect for kids and I don't feel horrible having 1.

Re: Nov Chat - Aug '11 babies
lol, Fletchers (my side of the family) are notorious ice cream eaters. like ice cream nearly everynight before bed. right now it is just easier to not have it in the house at all. I don't need the temptation.

Re: Nov Chat - Aug '11 babies
Stangely enough, I joined a gym! It's weird because everyone is talking about weightloss, and it's a complete fluke that i got a postcard in the mail from a new gym, and it's like 10 bucks a month, no commitments, and it's got a daycare and they have Gym theater, where they play different movies on this huge screen infront of all the workout stuff. anyways it sounds AWESOME.
and my totally cool buddy/real estate agent is going to be my gym buddy. lol That's probably the weirdest part. who becomes friends with their real estate agent? lol We call eachother just to talk, she comes over to hang out.. kinda nice actually, since I've got such a lack of IRL friends anymore, everyone moves away.. Got Levi Walking wings the other day. He HATES them.. but then I think he just hates to walk period. lol I cancelled the appt I had with the specialist.. It was in seattle, and I couldn't go. It's a area I don't know, all by myself, with kids getting in and out of school and like a 4hr day.. His lack of walking isn't important enough yet to me for that. lol He'll walk when he walks. If he's not walking by 18m then I'll make a point to get an appt. I'll let you know how the gym goes!

When dh and I were first married he got mad at me that I did not wrap the ice cream in foil after opening before I put it away. Apperently it prevents freezer burn and he was shocked I did not know that being I ate so much ice cream. I had to explain to him that I ATE ice cream I did not store it and it usually did not make it back into the freezer after I opened it. We both had to agree to disagree bc he was like "who eats all the ice cream in one sitting?" and I was like "Who eats only half the ice cream and puts it back?" Jen--Yeah for gyms and buddies!!! And what are walking wings we may need them here. So peyton who walks holding on to things and stand up by herself soes not walk. WHY? BC when she stands up all by herself not holding on to anything and no help goes hysterical laughing and falls. It honestly is the cutest thing I ever saw and it does not help that I go hysterical laughing when she does it.

Walking Wings. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20 I got the pink ones. LOL Got them at the consignment store, so whatever. ![]() You'll see in the extra pictures, how funny the baby looks in them? yep, that's just like Levi. lol that baby is much younger though. levi looks like a 2yo in them. 25ish pound baby, 33inches tall. In walking wings because he refuses to walk. He'll stand in them, but walking is done in this awkward bent over position with his arms all up, because the harness is riding up. lol it needs a strap to keep it in place.. I think something like these, would be better. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20I could see that bar that you hold onto being annoying, but YKWIM. Levi will cruise furniture, but didn't learn to do that until he was over 13m old, so I just think it's going to be awhile on the walking. He just sits down if you put him in the middle of the room.

Joann's got me in deep trouble. I guess I need to start drinking more coffee, sleeping less and sewing more.
