Re: What are your favorite art supplies for kids?
I think the BEST art purchase we have made are the little paint cups w/lids and the fat brushes from Melissa and Doug. Keeps the paint fresh and pretty mess free!

Stockmar crayons and modelling wax. And Lyra Ferby pencils. I just purchased Faber-Castel watercolor pencils but we haven't tried them yet. Their beeswax crayons are a nice try but they are a miss.

Re: What are your favorite art supplies for kids?
We love glob paint...it comes in a powdered packet that you mix yourself, so it stores with very little space, never dries out, can be watercolor or thicker like tempera depending on how much water you use, and its all natural made from plant dyes. Its also just more fun for the kids to mix it up and experiment.

Re: What are your favorite art supplies for kids?
My 18 month old loves the basics like crayons, markers, and bingo dabbers (found those at the dollar store). I also wandered the aisles of the dollar store and stocked up on some neat things for future projects - foam sheets, googly eyes, glitter, pipe cleaners etc...
Someday I can't wait to try Suminagashi http://playathomemom3.blogspot.com/2...minagashi.html And I've got a lot of ideas after checking out the PAHM list of things theyhave on hand http://playathomemom3.blogspot.com/s...ve%20On%20Hand |
