Re: Cytotec induction?
I was given two rounds of Cytotec (3 pills inserted vaginally 24 hours apart) to start my last miscarriage and it didn't work. It gave me horrible contractions that lasted all night without actually helping me miscarry. I was given pitocin during my labors and that was LESS painful and if there is a problem, they can stop it.

Re: Cytotec induction?
I had 3 of these with my first baby, who was ultimately born with apgars of 3,3,3, not breathing for almost an hour and intubated. FWIW, I had asked for that type of induction because I assumed it would be gentler than pitocin. No one my "health care team" bothered to set me straight. If anyone ever attempts to give me this drug again I will kick them in the face.
