Its from a book called Nursery Knits by Zoe Mellor. The pattern is called Kaleidoscope Throw. Its a really cute book. I will be knitting a few 6-9 month sweaters, too!

Oh man some of this is so cute I cannot wait to get started making stuff for the newb. I am trying to hold back until I know what we are having though! I could just go neutral but I love making things all girly or themed so I want to wait

I am super unmotivated this time to make anything...last pregnancy I made: cloth wipes, recycled wool slippers,embellished prefolds, converted onesies to lap tees and made some toys....this time I just traded a ton of fabric to another mama to sew for me


I have been spending all my time decluttering, looking for a job and cooking! I have an entire deep freeze full of meals, does that count?

I would like to start making some things - my fingers are itching to move! But I'm not quite comfortable with it just yet. u/s is on Friday, so hopefully we'll get good news there and I can start making things!

I am so excited! In light of the upcoming birth of the first granddaughter (and her first biological grandchild) my mother has gone out and bought a new embroidery/sewing maching combo! (its sort of a genetic trait lol her father went out and bought a new car the day I was born!) so why am I so excited you ask??? BECAUSE I GET THE OLD ONES!!!!! I CANT WAIT! fortunately I wont have to wait long cuz they will be here tomorrow! let the embroidering begin!! this poor kid is gonna be like mom cant I have something that ISNT embroidered!?!? (much like I was with the mom made clothes and smocked dresses when I was little that I now cherish! lol)

I agree! Totally counts! I bought extra lasagna noodles for freezing, but I have never frozen actual meals so this will be my first! What do you like to freeze?

I saw this cute hat in a photo...


I love the pastel rainbow colors! I'm gonna make a hat and some boots with those colors for Hiccup - though not sure we'd end up using them for a boy-Hiccup, we'll see. I may make one set with and one without some pink.
