My husband works about 50 miles away.

He went to work at 7am. Called me at 3pm telling me that he was going to work late, maybe until about midnight or so. He called me again at 8pm to tell me that it might be later than midnight because some guys weren't working very fast.

It's now 4:45am, and he's not home. He could very well still be at work, but I'm just nervous. A 50 mile drive home is nothing to sneeze at when you're tired. Please pray that my husband makes it home safely, and soon!

Yes, I'm sorry. He made it home about 5:30am. He was gone for 23.5 hours, and worked 22 hours of that time. He got about 4 hours of sleep, and went back to work at about 1pm this afternoon. It's 9:30pm, and he's still at work. REALLY hoping he gets to head home in the next 30 minutes or so. He gets tomorrow off.
