I just finished watching three wee devils nakie butts. It's a great movie to be sure. Working in my sleeve. I REALLY hope to be blocking tomorrow.

I was caking my new sweaters skeins last night and I may have chosen badly. They were sooooooo staticky. I am hoping beyond normal hope that I can eliminate that with some washing and lanolin. If not it's really really really going to suck to have a sweater I can't wear during the winter.

Re: THANKSGIVING! KAL ~ Nov 18-24

That stinks, Fi. What kind of yarn is it? Could you gently rub it with fabric softener sheets to get rid of the static or would that kill the wool?

I'm watching Walking Dead and eating pumpkin ice cream with DH. I'm fully convinced ice cream will make my back feel better

It's cascade heritage. I am pretty sure it's the high nylon content. 25% and the fact that its a very dry 5 degrees out... Yea. Caking it up was a shocking experience.

I would think lanolin in the rinse would help a lot

I hope so. I won't be pre washing it but I am seriously considering using a small spray bottle to spritz it as I work it up. I use lanolin in all wool i wash anyway so it wouldn't not be am inconvenience.

I broke my KP size 0, the cord pulled right out as I gave it a tug to shift the needles for MLing. I'm doing some shifting around and will move to the Knitter's Pride I have, but I'm irritated. I like the length on the KP for one at a time, which was what I had switched to.

Oh I need sweater opinions too. http://www.ravelry.com/projects/larkspur91/rocio is on my very soon to knit list. Hopefully right after the tea leaves, I'll wear this during spring. I'm in love with that color, but had initially thought I'd do a lighter purple/amethyst ish color. Now I'm torn, and even reconsidering a deep dark green. HELP!
I want to make one in dark brown. I love lace weight cardigans

Morning ladies. Judging by the fact that my computer didn't turn on, DH wasn't able to make it work last night. Guess replacing the part didn't do it.

See y'all tonight
