Another 3T trainer done. It's about time to sell of the M SuperUndies. This one is the same as last night except it has PUL side panels and alternating colors of snaps. It looks pretty wonky in the pic....Kennah decided to jump right as I snapped it.

Yes that is the trainer pattern I made. I wanted it to be a true side snap. Most of the "side snapping" seem to snap more to the front than on the side. I want to make a few little changes to to it and then make more. (That is why I laid it flat to photo. You can't see the snaps if I didn't. They are bright green so they don't show up well anyway)

This is the rug that I made from upcycled couch cushions and pillows. It is roughly 60 in by 40 in. I also made a smaller rug and a small pillow that I forgot to take pics of.

I made the pattern bigger because it was just the right fit for DD right now and I'm sure we won't start potty training till later. (She is still not walking at 16 months)

It's a bit of a funky knit print.

Inside is a light blue stretch cotton terry.

adjroberts--I love that rug idea!! Looks good!

Kennah is obsessed with coloring with markers right now so I made her an on-the-go tote. It has a velcro closure, a flap to keep the markers in place when carried (it's that orange flap under the marker tops...), upcycled handles and the small pocket on the bottom of the marker side is for a pen/pencil as there was not quite enough room for one more marker.





If I can get my act together I may make some more of these to give as Christmas gifts for my Sunday School class (mostly 2 yos).

I drafted a pattern! I usually just make stuff up as I go, but I decided since I was making a few of these a pattern would be nice. Plus I may use it again some day for nieces/nephews or something, so it would be nice not to have to figure things up again. Anyway, here's the rest of the color book caddies....Clockwise from top there is an open caddy with the colorbooks and markers, drafted pattern, caddy closed, and open caddy showing the outside. These were super cheap gifts! A friend gave me the noah's ark material ages ago, and my Grandma gave me the denim that she got at a yardsale this summer. All I bought was the color books (and they were B1G1) and the markers (which I got at back to school sales.) Yeah!!

I love the caddy! I'm about to make some crayon rolls for some kids in the family and I was going to make a little tote to match for the boy and purses for the girls. But those are really cute! (Plus the velcro closure is so much nicer for little ones than a ribbon or my method of elastic and a button)
