Help with 7yo school issue?

There are 19 kids in my son's class. And he is in second grade. At this level I would expect a teacher to have a reasonable amount of communication with parents especially a child with special needs. I've asked how he is doing plenty of times and she's always said he's fine.

You can ask for a daily report for his work habits, behavior etc. It takes only seconds to fill out (for the teacher). I surely hope that it goes well for the 504 meeting and that the teacher reflects on how she needs to communicate with you.

I know that it gets busy and hectic, but I still try my best to communicate with parents. I sign their PRIDE binders (practicing responsibility in daily en devours) each day--and I teach 4th graders
