My Mood:
This is exactly how it was with my dd. I don't really have a solution for you, just . I never was able to night wean her. She stopped nursing at night when we fully weaned at 25 months. I just kind of powered through this phase like you are, reminding myself that it won't last forever. But, boy is it HARD when you're in the thick of it! Could you just keep her next to you in bed, rather than putting her back in her crib? Maybe she'll be soothed by the closeness and want to nurse less. Or at least you won't be getting up over and over, giving the illusion of more sleep?

I can share my experience.

For the first entire year my DS had to be latched on for all naps and all.night.long. Then from a year-18 months he could be unlatched but his face had to be touching my breast. 18m-2y I could actually roll over but he needed to be within arms reach of feeling my skin. During that time he nursed about every 2 hours at night. Now, he's 3 and I can nurse him down and get out of bed for hours. He nurses about 2x a night. There is hope, it WILL get better. I promise. And those extra calories at night are definitely beneficial to her. It doesn't seem like she's ready to wean and if you tough it out a bit longer I think it'll become more enjoyable (with more sleeping) for you.
