Good morning!

I got a skein of biggo too, I was pleasantly surprised. And my KP order got here in FIVE days from order date. I think that's a new record. I showed Pixie which yarn was for her sweater and she has "claimed" it and plays with the skeins.

TY to whoever mentioned the WEBS shipping, I've been wanting to get some interchangeable hooks for my Kpride needle set, that's a good excuse. I can use it for tunisian and for when I need to pick up and knit a big area, then just slide it to the other end on a needle.

Do knitters pride interchangeables work well for magic loop? Thinking about trying them out.

They're pretty much the same as KP, made by the same company. The cable is slightly more rubbery vs. plasticky but I think it works well. Hiya hiya still is a better cable for ML so that's my preference for sock sizes, but for interchangeables I think KPride is a great set. I'm magic looping my sister's socks right now on KPride interchangeable 3s.

I LOVE hiya hiya interchangeable but can't find any 16"cables in stock anywhere and I need a couple more that size as well as a long one for ml'ing

That's a huge part of why I love KPride over KP - 16" cable option. I liked my Hiya set but the joins weren't AS nice as other sets and they would come loose especially after a lot of ribbing. Never had a tip come completely undone but the snags would get annoying over time. They're still my go-to for any sizes I NEED in fixed though. Plus they're one of the few companies that makes sub-zeroes for fine gauge socks and lace.

I need coffee. I tried to take my cup downstairs and completely wiped out, knocked over my wheel, spilled day-old coffee, and twisted my wrist. Blah.

don't know what we'll do today. Tonight we are heading over to the inlaws to have turkey dinner with them. But I think we might head over to my parents sometime today. My sister and fam leave tomorrow. I might take Claire to PlayPark with Em tomorrow.

Going to pick Steven's sweater back up today and work on it.

Only got one reply to Steven's kid party next week

Hope more respond. And I need to print out some to hand out tomorrow. I always hate having less than a week notice, but it sucks that we have the "holiday" break in there. Oh well, he'll have fun even if just one shows up

okay and with that...Benj picked the time for it. 11am to 1pm. So I now have to serve lunch!

what do I serve? Oh and I think parents will be showing up to. I think I'll be making cupcakes for them to eat (instead of costco cake).

we're going to be making superhero capes (well they will be decorating them) and my mom is going to be taking picutres (hopefully...she asked me what time last night...and I didn't answer her

)

on a side note...when do parents stop coming to parties

Yeah I fell upstairs so on carpet. Pregnancy extra low BP, lack of sleep, lack of coffee, low blood sugar. Wheel's fine too. Pixie decided to beat it with a yardstick just now to make absolutely sure nothing got knocked loose
