2.5 months pp pain while peeing

I had an emergency c section on 9/11/12. the first time I peed after having the catheter removed hurt soooooooo bad. the nurses told me that was just from the catheter and would only last a few more days. but, it still hurts when I pee is that normal? its like a cramping sort of pain and its worse if im super full of pee. it doesn't feel like a uti either.
