Oh my gosh!! So excited! I found bean's heartbeat just now!! I'm 9w2d. I really didn't think I'd find it until a couple more weeks from now since my uterus is quite tilted back... but there it was, loud and clear and easily distinguishable as a baby heartbeat... I must have irritated the baby because it moved away after about 8 seconds and I could not find it again!! But I nearly cried tears of joy for those short few seconds I was able to hear it!!!

Deanna! I think we all understand what you're going through. Been there for sure. Personally, I'd go to the u/s, too. I know it doesn't prove that everything is going to be perfectly fine, but those early ultrasounds helped me so much. We knew right away with my m/c that something was wrong, so it gave me time to slowly process. My early u/s with this baby showed everything was on track, so I could really relax a bit. Everyone is different, so do what works for you. I COMPLETELY respect the mamas that choose to wait.

AFM, just kinda on auto pilot over here. 25 weeks today and feeling good! My weight gain caught up (oh, pregnancy during the holidays is fun!) and I'm up about 10 pounds now. I know that's perfectly fine, but the giant belly is making it hard to breathe, so I feel extra huge. Not a bad problem to have, though...I'm treasuring these discomforts. I was so afraid that I'd never even GET here!

I have gained... a lot. I mean, my normal amount by this point... but that's a lot, lol.

Yay Carly! So excited you were able to find that little HB.

Hit the "100 days to go" mark today, which means tomorrow I'll be in double digits. Squeeeee! Still working OT shifts. Pulled a 17 hr shift yesterday and I did absolutely nothing today to balance it out. Baby is still hanging out really low for the most part. Ironically, I still can't breathe!

Don't work too hard! I can't breathe either right now - but that's cuz of this damn cold I've got. Sucks.
