Phew lol we just covered our floors in it a few days ago, vacuumed it up the next morning but that had me worried lol. We have been using the dawn every few days but I think the issue is they are in the yard so she keeps getting re flead

I recently got my first bottle of DE from Nature's Wisdom on amazon. I shopped around, and I could get large quantities cheaper, but for the trial quantity I wanted (2.5 lbs) that was really the best. However, if you think you will only want a small amount, you can get smaller amounts (slightly cheaper but not cheaper per ounce). After determining if DE is a good program for me, I would probably get it in bulk from earthworks once I check out their shipping price (for modest amounts like what I got, it was more expensive with shipping than amazon).

Definately treat your yard. There is a spray- Beyer I think. As for inside, I only use DE, and I dust my animals with it once a month. They run around looking like ghosts for a day or so, and we have never had to resort to frontline. (frontline is pretty toxic stuf, and my kids kiss and hug our animals, and the animals have full access to our home, so putting chemicals on the pets wouldn't work for us.) We had a HORRIBLE flea infestation one time when I was a kid, and I remember my mom vacuuming, and washing bedding, and spraying posionous room spray and washing the dogs for weeks trying to control it. All in all, it wasn't that dramatic- they are just little tiny bugs, but they were really hard to get rid of. So, have no fear!

The thing with treating our yard is that we have 5 acres that the pooch runs free on!
