Once LO arrives I will be able to say that, as long as I don't go crazy. I only spent about $800 for dd's and will use them again this time. Nb diapers, so far $40ish for some covers since I didn't have anything nb sized.

We only used infant prefolds. Both of my girls were in underwear day and night by eleven months, so realistically, we've spent under $500 on diapers . I also still use the prefolds for cleaning/spills, they are so awesome for messes!

I've spent about $300 on prefolds, sewing supplies, and a couple covers to CD full time. I think I've about broken even so far. I made most of my covers and all the NB fitteds we used. DD will be sizing up soon though, which means I have to spend more $ and get busy sewing! Hoping I can keep up with the breaking even trend. When we have a 2nd we'll definitely be saving.

Probably typing one handed while breastfeeding. My smartphone can't fix it all.

I haven't spent a *ton* on diapers, but 2 kids would definitely get me to break even (most likely saving money). But the wool stash is the thing... although I will probably get much of my money back when it comes time to selling the woolies.

I have spent less than $1000, I buy all my wool used. I had an exact number but I lost my notebook. I only have one LO and will most likely sell off her entire stash, except her flats, when she PLs, so in the end I would have saved. I also look at it like even though I'm spending $$, I love CDing and not throwing away all that sposie trash, so it is still worth it.

We would only need one baby. For six months. Hehe. 100% prefolds and covers over here!

this (except i don't knit).... as for woolies we do use them as clothing too so I think they should only count as a percentage of diapering costs

Only if you also have to account for your kids pants.

I have a bit more leeway than those great couponers. I rarely ever find diaper coupons. I also strongly dislike the generic diapers so would have been using whatever is the current equivelent to Huggies Supreme diapers and wipes. When I checked out how much this would have costed us over 2 1/2 years I came up with $3000. Since I have spent on both wool and diapers around $1500 we are still $1500 dollars ahead.
