I did rice packs for everyone for Christmas two years ago, big hit! Several of them are still being used.

Awesome! The pink and blue ones are upcycled T-shirts so they are stretchy and soft, I really like how they came out! I will update me score within the next couple of hours.

RockinLou you inspired me. I really like the poncho, but I didn't have a pattern for that. I did have a pattern for this though, so I did it today after seeing how cutesy yours turned out. Thanks!

Ignore the sickish looking child with the terrible hair. Or picture her more put together, lol. It's biggish for now--I actually made it for spring. And it's supposed to have big buttons in front, and I'll get that done eventually, but not today. Maybe it will be an UFO for some other month, lol.

Hic sunt dracones*

I've gotten progressively better. The Frost dragon was my last and definitely my best. I added pipe cleaners to her and the red dragons necks so they are poseable. I'm brainstorming different things (small and treasure like) the dragons can be guarding for the kids to play with, but I need help brainstorming ideas. I saw some bridal decorations in the shape of diamonds at JA the other day and thought those would be cool, and chocolate coins. But that is all I can think of right now

so cute!! Mine is too big on my daughter too, but everything's always too big, I err that way after making the mis-sizing mistake in the opposite direction one too many times when she was a baby

I'm so glad I made this for her, she saw it today and was soooo excited, as she has been helping me with a bunch of the Christmas gifts and other than a napkin out of scraps I haven't made her anything in a long time
