Dish soap on diapers
my mom dropped ds at daycare for me this morning, well we usually put him in pull ups at daycare since its easier for them(hes potty training), well he showed up there in a thirsties aio bc my mom forgot to change him and when i went to pick him up the babysitter told me she soaked the diaper in her sink with dish soap. Is this going to take me a billion wash cycles to get the soap out? Ive heard of people stripping with dish soap but ive never needed to strip my diapers so i have no experience with this whatsoever. Should i just wash it as normal with the rest of my diapers or do i need to wash it by itself? should i rinse it until all the soap is out first?? Help!

Re: Dish soap on diapers
Depending on how much was used, it might not be so bad. Yes people use dish soap to strip diapers all the time. I've done it a few times. But to strip you just use a few squirts. Were they clean and then soaked? If they were washed and then soaked, I would just throw them all in a rinse cycle and see what the bubble situation is like. Then rinse rinse rinse until the bubbles are gone.

Re: Dish soap on diapers
I wouldn't use detergent and probably just do them with towels a few times to rinse out some of the dish soap.

Definitely do them separate from your other diapers and don't use detergent. Check on them and keep rinsing until there are no more bubbles.
