The first time you lanolizesometimes you need to use 2x the normal amount of lanolin or lanolize the wool 2-3x before you get the best result. I didn't realize this whenI was a wool newbie and was disappointed that I had wetness seeping through the first time I used them.

That explains a lot. We haven't gotten wet yet but we are more damp than I thought it should be. Thank you.
