Re: what do you feed as snacks?
Our usual suspects:
Pretzels Raisins Dried Cranberries Dry Cheerios Triscuits Cheese - either chunks from a big block or string cheese Apples Grapes Green pepper slices Applesauce Peanut butter (he eats it in a dish with a spoon) Some favorites that are seldom found in our house: Strawberries Carrots/Celery with Ranch Annie's Cheddar Bunnies Most days he goes to daycare with an apple for a morning snack and an afternoon snack of something crunchy (Triscuits or pretzels) and cheese.

Re: what do you feed as snacks?
smoothies, homemade granola bars...my 2 yr old loves chips SO much. I do get the black bean tortilla chips or pita chips so I feel less guilty. he loves that with hummus. he also loves pepper strips, greek yogurt, peanuts, mixed nuts, wegmans fruit leather (100% fruit)

I'm a meanie. I offer whatever fruits I have on hand (except berries b/c the kids eat them too fast and they cost way too much to let them just devour them in one sitting). My kids love to eat plain ole tortillas. String cheese is always a hit. .... Those are pretty much our go-to snacks. ![]() And if they don't want the snack, they can wait till the next meal. If they start whining, I just offer again whatever I offered before. If they refuse again, I just remind them they'll have to wait till the next meal, then. Usually 3 times of this gets them to accept the snack and move on with life. LOL

Re: what do you feed as snacks?
Among other things my LO likes quick pickles:
Cut the cumber into bite sized pieces (removing seeds if they are tough) and mix with a dash of salt, a dash of red wine vinegar (other kinds might work too) and a dash of garlic powder.
