What to use for diaper pail?
I've been trying to use the Diaper Champ for my cloth diapers but it's not working. I have a Planet Wise wet bag and it does not allow for the diaper pail to close. So, I need to buy something else but really want it to be inexpensive and effective. A friend recommended a diaper pail that just looks like a plastic trash can with a step lid. Couldn't I just buy a trash can and use it? If so, anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks so much!

I just bought a trash can & used it. Lol I do an open pail because it helps with any smell.

Re: What to use for diaper pail?
Just use a trash can. I use PW liners in a step can. Nothing special needed.

I started out with a trash can that I cleaned out on laundry day (no pail liner) but now I just use a Kangacare hanging wetbag.

Re: What to use for diaper pail?
I use a Sterilite waste can with a lid. Once upon a diaper time(10 years ago) I used the diaper champ but I have never used a wet bag or liner. I just wash the can out in the bath tub after I dump it in the wash.

Re: What to use for diaper pail?
I have a trashcan I liked at target (idea being I could use it later... not sure I will, but who knows). its step-on, has a thing to hold my bags (so they're not out over the edge) and I don't mind it in my bedroom

Re: What to use for diaper pail?
We use a standard size plastic trash can with a step lid and a PlanetWise liner. It works great and doesn't stink (unlike our diaper genie

Re: What to use for diaper pail?
Yep, just use a trash can. I definitely appreciate the one with the step lid.
I have a tall metal one that I love similar to this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Canopy-30-...p-Can/15728019 |
