Just shipped the last of my diapers!

After making a trip to the PO today, I think I've decided to quit selling diapers. I'm losing an arm and a leg on them with shipping and DC. One shipment cost me over $8! I tried to fit them in a padded FR envelope but it didn't work.

I'm just discouraged. I love being able to sell, but I hate the shipping fees involved.

Yup absolutely stinks. I mailed a package out with the wrong zip. I had to pay to reship it. Not only did I not make any money I actually lost money.

Have you tried regional rate envelopes and boxes. Depending on where the other person lives it can be cheaper.

Have you tried printing shipping from home. All you need is a kitchen scale and a printer for most items. Then, DC is free through pp so it really does save money over going to the PO.

So sorry to hear that! I have some Workhorses I planned on selling after she outgrows them but now I am not sure! They are going to be heavy to ship

I always check weights before listing so I can price accordingly. Though I hardly sell on here. People want ridiculous prices for diapers. Offering me almost 40% off a brand new in package diaper is mind blowing to me when I already had it listed dollars under what it was worth.

I try to price what I think I *should* get for my diapers (and I feel I'm very reasonable) but they still don't sell. It's like people want them for next to nothing.

I have looked into regional rate packaging but unfortunately the one I shipped today wasn't in my region.

what a bummer mama! FSOT has been so slow you have to pretty much give stuff away for someone to want it. Its really to bad, i have a huge box of things i want to sell but i dont even know if its worth it for me since im in canada it costs me more than what it does to ship within the US, but i still have to charge the same prices or no one will want them
