If you are near Sac or feel like making a road trip, we're hosting the Sacramento GCDC this year at Safetyville in Sac, april 20th from 10-12pm. http://sacramentogcdc-es2004.eventbrite.com/?rank=4 is the link on eventbrite to register (you need to register to be entered in the raffles) and there's a facebook page as well for the Sac. GCDC (I'll edit later, no fb acess here).

We'll have face painting, a children's musician, you can bring bikes/balls to play with in the mini village, there will be food, art for older kids, dolls with diapers for them to change, a wool and baby carrier demo section so you can try on carriers and see which type/brand you like best, and a deaf interpreter. Also there will be goody bags for the first 25 people- we already have stuff from bumgenius, sloomb, rumparooz (limited edition dipe), little fancy pants, eco sprout, and more. Carpinteria is SoCal. I can give you a rundown of the local area, but I don't spend a whole lot of time in the city itself.
