I heart my ring sling

I wonder if I'm silly for being so in love with my ring sling! I have been babywearing for the past 3 kids and really love the ergo and wraps, but this time I made a SBP type RS and can't get over how much I love it.

My baby is 3 months, but super chubby and it's still comfortable for both of us and so easy to get on. I am so glad I took the time to try and make one. Something about that pleated shoulder makes it so comfy!

I had one and never used it w/ DS and sold it. And now I just sent in a shorty to be slingified at SBP. I'm excited to get it back and use it.

Um...tummy to tummy?? Not sure if RS's have names for their carries. Lemme see if I can post a picture. My maya wrap had a padded shoulder and I can't use it anymore, but the pleats seem to help spread out the weight so much!

This is when she was a newbie so I don't know if this helps! Apparently I have no pictures with her in it recently...since I seem to be the only one that takes pictures.

Thank you - I wore her like that when she was teeny tiny like that too but was wondering what to do with her now that she's not all crunched up anymore.

I'm assuming your siggy is out of date and this is your August 2012 baby? If it is, then I recommend this carry. It's one of my very favorite carries for that age (just not long-term, like just for the grocery store or whatever), and the video has some great tips about it as well.

im sooo in love with my ringsling its a wrappers paradise WC gathered shoulder. i have tried several SBP regular shoulders and loved them until i tried a gathered shoulder. SOO much more comfy for us!!
