Mrs. Meyers softener???

I got some to use on my diapers to hopefully help with the hard water stiffness. Can I use it on my AIO/covers or do I need to remove all PUL first?

It doesn't cause build up? I thought you shouldn't use softner. I would like though.

Ecover doesn't cause build up? Is there a version that doesn't stink so bad? The pink cap stinks

Not for me. I second yellow cap. Although the pink rinses out so you almost can't smell it.
