VTech Cogsley or Playskool Alphie?
Do any of your children have one or both of these? Poppy loves robots and we need expert advice deciding which one to get. Thanks

We got Alphie for dd2 when she turned 3. She barely plays with it, it doesn't hold her attention at all.

Oh man... Anyone else think they are not a good idea? I am getting frantic about what to get her. She is #5 so we have EVERYTHING already.

Re: VTech Cogsley or Playskool Alphie?
I've never seen cogsly. We got dd2 an alphi 2 years ago - that thing has barely been touched. We only still have it because we're waiting to see if ds will play with it. Maybe I should get him some new cards as a stocking stuffer for it to see if he'll like it....

Re: VTech Cogsley or Playskool Alphie?
I just saw that your dd is 2 - we got alphi out for ds at 2ish and he couldn't figure it out at all and just crumpled up the cards. If she knows letters and numbers pretty well she might do ok but ds never could figure out which buttons they wanted him to push. He just turned 3 and I was just debating getting it out again.

Re: VTech Cogsley or Playskool Alphie?
My girls got one over the summer and played with it for a few days but it didn't hold their attention long. DD2 was too little to get how it worked but liked to push the buttons and DD1 got bored with it pretty easily.
