http://www.everythingkitchens.com/ki...d_pro_600.html This one. And I do, because it is made to handle that. That is what is frustrating. I am not in any way testing the limits of what they claim it can do.

I see...it says in the description that it takes 14 cups of flour....which is still much more than the 10 cups in the bread recipe so I would too. Mine doesn't mix well when I leave the entire mixture in the machine to knead after incorporating all the flour. So I have to half the batch.

Very nice mixer though. I can only dream of such a mixer!

I have to admit I panicked a bit internally each and every time we ate nuts at school. Even when the kids were being served Pb&J in the caf!

Our school is entirely nut free. I have students in my class anaphylactically allergic to tree nuts, peanuts, tilapia and kiwi. Fun times! The one with the tilapia and kiwi allergies is also gluten intolerant.

For birthdays, we don't allow food of any sort. If they want to share something with their friends, they can do non food items. For E's birthday today, we sent in goody bags with bouncy balls, notepads and pencils. We do allow food at parties, but only pre-packages items that are labeled as nut-free, or fruit/veggies. No homemade goods.

We just don't have any kids with nut allergy issues. We have many lactose intolerant kids. We have one allergic to sugar and one diabetic.

Mel, that is the future, methinks. Lots of schools don't do food at all. They say with say, 25 kids in a class, that is still getting cupcakes every other week without even counting other kinds of parties. Or they bring a big cake with no plates or a knife, etc. And if the allergies do not apply the dyes and sugars do, lol. It is sad.

We are watching sword in the stone tonight. I picked another rotisserie chicken and gave the kids burritos and bbq sammies, and I have a pot of tortilla soup going for dh and I. Cuz I have a working kitchen and stuff, lol.

We came into some money today and I really really want three upholstered chairs and two floor lamps for the library. It is so dark in there and the old $20 ikea chairs are uncomfortable. I know there are more practical uses for the money but I really really want it.

Jerry Griswald Brown dragged us out and about to get more Christmas lights we now have 900 icicle lights on the front of the house. MH also conned her dad into a Razor scooter.
