Awesome! My son dropped his and it busted in half. I think I might post on FB and see if anyone might have one for sale! We got his at a yardsale in the first place, so it's not a big deal, but he would be so excited o Christmas morning if I could get him one.

You may be able to fix it. My dh has fixed 3 of them. You can buy parts for a few dollars on eBay. Orrrr you can sell the broken one. It should go for about $20 on eBay

Thank you, Natasha! Great idea. But I think I already donated it to goodwill. It's still good to know for the future though.

I have to let you all know that I posted on FB this morning that my son dropped his and one of my best friends from high school is sending him a ds that her daughter never uses anymore. And when I asked how much she wanted for it, she said nothing! I am in tears I feel so blessed. Thank you original poster for sharing your blessing.

I totally agree! I always ask, so many peole have things they don't need or want and are happy to give it if they know someone wants it. My joke is I love it when people get new stuff, cause then I do to! (their old!)

Oh and what a blessing to you!!

This one lady who responded on a for sale site, has a regular DS, a DSi, and a DS 3D. all are her one daughters. It makes me wonder what else she has laying around her house that she doesn't need or want.

Awesome. It really does pay to mention things. I wanted to make those Christmas trees out of tomatoe cages that I keep seeing on pinterest. When I got my lights out they were missing too many bulbs to be useful. I mentioned it at work and a few days later my boss brought in a box of lights she doesn't need!! love it.
