I hate buying dishwasher detergent-they're so expensive now! So I was trying to make our own. We just got a new dishwasher too so I want to make a good one. The last 2 (one dry and one liquid) just aren't doing the job. Any suggestions?

I've seen on pintrest that the reg laundry det makes a good dishwasher det. I haven't tried it.

I prefer a drop of Dawn. I know it sounds bad but worked
