Here are my points:

Rav can be moderated internally
rav has the reply feature
rav saves your last read post well
we can still do weekly posts
project/stash sharing is easier
we can better break off longer term KAL but still be in the same group

rav will only allow rav members to join so new people who only have a question or two wont have us
on that point, they rarely stay past a single question or 2
there will still be EF or we can still answer questions, group discussion will just not take place here

completely agree. it is really hard to use mobile and we ALL know how often I'm mobile.

That was my one hesitation as well. I like project sharing though so for true KAL stuff it would be very nice. I usually have DS and Rav both loaded on my desktop though so for me it's not a huge issue.
