Life Insurance cost calculator/estimator??

Does anyone know of any calculators for term life insurance that can help me get a ballpark figure for how much a certain amount of insurance will cost us?

When I sit down with various life insurance policies to discuss, apply and compare I want to have a knowledge of costs. I know our max amount of $ we can spend yearly on a policy and that is pretty much going to determine (right now) how much insurance we get. I just don't want to sit down with multiple companies with the "I've got $400 to spend, what can you give us?" I know its variable on age, smoking, weight, etc. Just looking for ballpark calculator

if you go to zander insurance online there is a place to put in all your info and it will give you a bunch of difference estimates based on the info provided. Then if you applied they would go through the whole process of taking blood etc. You don't have to agree to anything to just get your estimates.

I went through select quotes as recommended from here. Ditto with DH. They give you quotes from many companies and tell you which one works out cheapest for you. So for me it was one company, but for DH it worked out another was cheaper. Then you can play around with the amount you need.

I think mine is about $28 a month for 350k, maybe it's $26? I just know our total. DH is double mine

Primerica is pretty reasonable not sure on site stuff as we just do big stuff with agent.

I like Zander, too. We got DH a new policy...same face amount, longer term (new 15 yr term vs old 10 yr term which we were 4 yrs in to) for $100 less per year. Well worth it for us!
