I'd never want baked good from strangers, I find it odd to give if I wouldn't eat it

I saw a FB thread about tips and one person was talking about her cleaner, babysitter, trash man, UPS/Fed ex, post by the time she was done it was a fortune! (1 month extra for the cleaner and sitter!)

Our rubbish men are loud and break stuff so umm no tip there. Post leaves out boxes in the rain (doesn't ring bell) so ummm no.

The only one we will do something for is UPS as he's very nice, and doesn't laugh at DH in his PJ's when he opens the door.

But we're doing 2 boxes of choco biscuits, I figure this.

1. it's sealed so should feel safe to eat
2. it's a nice token, without feeling funny like money
3. if he hates it it's easy to re-gift/donate to the food bank

Hope he likes it and doesn't think we're cheap, but sorry a money tip kind of thing just feels wrong.

IHA: books, fabric, lots of new baby clothes, toys
ISO: Amazon codes, Paypal or Gift Cards

Yeah, I've always heard that it is the 'deadbeat dad' type offenders. Inmates do a lot of work out and about around here. They do most of the lawn maintenance work at the parks, too. I've been uncomfortable with that one because I feel like I can't go to the park when they're there...

My parents have always given a Christmas card and store bought can of nuts or box of chocolate to their regular mail carrier, and its never been turned down.
