Re: Is the seller protected from scams when sending to Canada?

I second sticking with USPS. I paid almost $100 to order two bags of rockin green a few years back in addition to the cost of the actual product. Customs/brokerage fees are ridiculously expensive when shipping from the US. I heard someone mention a while back independent insurance. Since the DC is not going to get you past the border anyhow, there is no sense spending any more money on purchasing it as you are not protected.

When I ship internationally, i always use u-pic third party insurance. It is inexpensive and protects the seller.

Yes but once it crosses the border Canada post can track it by that same customs number.

^ well they could, but they dont, generally they dont scan it anymore once it makes it here

the only time ive ever had anything update past the border is when they had actual tracking
