It's still weird to think about my DAUGHTER! Blows my mind!

Oh, and I found the bedding set for $110, so I bought it! Made me want to vomit to make a purchase for this baby, but I did it because the set with extras in the set I got normally costs $230+!!!

Haha. I just get queasy any time I think about it. I DID make a hat for baby out of leftover yarn scraps today (i made my BFF a scarf today and had a teeny amount of yarn left). It's cute! She better grow big to fit it! I based it off a vague recollection of DS's birth size and then remembered that I probably won't have a 10lb fatty this time.

Andrea - so many hugs and prayers coming your way. I hope the Christmas spirit brings much joy to you. That's a lot of grief for one mama to bear.

Quick - Eeeeeeeee! I'm on my phone, but if there's an emoticon of a smilie jumping up and down squealing, picture about 20 of them here. A little girl! How fun! And I'm so happy you bit the bullet and bought that bedding. I know how hard it can be, but it means your grain of hope is alive and well.

Cerclage is in! During the last week, my cervix shortened from 5.5 down to 4.75, so doc was definitely glad to put it in! I'm relieved now that its over.

Spotting has stopped and only an occasional cramp or contraction (I was contracting 1-2 times daily randomly before surgery. Doc gave me meds to stop it while I healed from surgery and said we'd readdress if they continue into next week).

So far she's holding on and while I've been on bed rest since Tuesday I managed to crochet her first baby blanket. I'll post pics tomorrow in daylight (our house has awful yellow light).

Now, if only I could convince DH that I am not an invalid and I CAN cook a meal or get my own drink --- the DOC said light duty (no lifting or vacuuming and to not be on my feet/walking for long periods) not to be on complete bed rest for weeks

Merry Christmas everyone!

I'll be thinking of you Andrea.

And you too Quick. Glad the cerclage went well. . .and hey, if your hubby insists on doing everything I'd just relax and go with it!

Hey all. 23w tomorrow, which is exactly when things went wrong with Deagan.

8 days to viability. 8.
The next week may kill me. 22w creeped by like molasses.
