Any other WAHM's working a full time job WOHM
Is there any more moms that are a part-time WAHM that has a full time job or am I the only crazy one?
I started trying to build my WAHM buisness a couple of months ago, but it is going soooooo slowly with having to work a FT job. How do you find time to stock your store, go to work, clean the house, and take care of the kids? |

Missing my soldier!!!

I tried - epic fail! lol
I had my WAHM biz for a few years before WOHM and I tried to keep it up full-time while working 40hrs a week and we were ALL miserable, the house was a mess, and I couldn't keep up. Apparently, I am not Superwoman, though I wanted to think so. In the end, being a WAHM was my "straw", y'know? I always felt like I should be doing something and never relaxed and enjoyed my kids/hubby. If I sat, I thought about all the things not done yet. So I took a few years off and it's become more of a hobby again. I knit what and when I want, I sell when I want. I enjoy it again and it's my stress relief from 3 boys, hockey, a hubby in the military and working 60-70 hours a week. So no, you're not the only crazy one. lol I just took a break and scaled back to the point that I could enjoy it again. Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum

I am a full time WOHM and also WAHM. With my WAHM job, I candle handle a lot of things on the fly with the help of my iPhone. I also don't have to deal with stock, making items, etc. As for cleaning the house and taking care of the kids, my husband and I share doing that.

Re: Any other WAHM's working a full time job WOHM
I am! I am lucky that I can do some work for my WAHM job while I'm at my WOH job. I also do some of my work during my lunch break, while I'm commuting (I take the train) and after the kids go to bed. It can feel exhausting at times, however I really want to be a full-time WAHM so I push hard knowing that I have an end goal.
The housework probably suffers the most. I try to get the kids to help and DH also helps. |

Re: Any other WAHM's working a full time job WOHM
I had a hard enough time managing a full time office job with at home part-time work without a baby. Can't imagine doing it with kids so thumbs up to anyone pulling it off! It's so hard trying to manage more than one job and then also keeping up with things around the house. I guess it depends how involved dh is.
