Re: What is your biggest to do before your lo arrives?

The baby's room is still a mess so I guess that's the next big thing... we used it as storage while all the other stuff was going on, but the BIG stuff is done!

Move.
Buy a new bed for DD1 and alter her sheets from queen to twin (so we don't have to change her room theme). Paint both girls' rooms. Decorate both rooms. |

Hubby just did and is still working in huge remodel so I've got to put my house back together, get crib set up, everything cleaned and finish shopping.

We finally got the girls' room finished! The bunk bed needed to be unbunked (DD1 is only 4 and I'm not comfortable with her up top) and DD2 moved from her crib-converted-to-daybed to her real bed. The crib was returned to crib status, and the whole room got a thorough cleaning and reorganization. It kinda looks like a dormitory with all the beds, but luckily they have a fairly large room so it all works quite nicely. Plus, now we can store toys under the big girl beds, so I'm psyched!
I got the master bedroom organized last week, too. Ahhhh, sweet relief. I do have to set up the pack n play (baby rooms with us for the first 6 months or so) and temporarily convert my nightstand to a changing table, but that's all easy stuff. Now, I mostly just need to wash baby clothes, diapers, etc. It still seems a little early to worry about that, but these next few months feel like they're going to fly.
