If your kids have nerf guns......

Are there any that are easy to pull the handle back? My 5 year old was gifted a nerf gun for Christmas and he LOVES it, however his 3 year old brother loves it even more if that is possible! The problem is we always have to pull the handle back for him. It is too hard to **** the gun on his own. Are there any easy ones out there?

We have nerf guns and my 3yr old can pull them back probably 50% of the time now. We make him try to pull it back before we automatically help him. With time he's slowly learned to do it himself. He still needs help after he's done it himself a few times because his hand gets tired but he's getting better.

So my advice is keep having him try. Eventually he'll get it figured out. But I agree, always having to help is a pain.

DD loves her Nerf Maverick gun. She's only 2 years old, so she follows us around the house asking for us to, "Co*ck it, co*ck it". It's rather amusing. Her 4 year old cousin can do it just fine. Eventually, the springs will stretch out in a well used Nerf gun and it will become easier.

Lol....I guess they automatically edit the word co*ck because I didn't do that! Haha. I suppose pull the handle of the nerd gun back works too, but the other word is so much less to write!!!

We also have a smaller one that is easier to pull back. I`m not sure what the name is but they usually come 2 or 3 to a pack and hold three darts.

It's called the Jolt. We have a ton of nerf (DH likes to modify them), and this is the only one that my 3yo can do easily by himself. We tried it while visiting family, and they actually shoot as well as the nite finder, but are a lot smaller.
