Any mamas out there in public safety?

Just curious. I started out as a 911 dispatcher, volunteer firefighter/EMT-I, then worked as a police officer for 5 years, and am back temporarily dispatching again... but I have a choice as to whether or not I want to stay in dispatch or go back to the field.

We are TTC right now and I go back and forth on whether or not I want to be a police officer after I have a child... DH is one also. I just worry that both parents in LE might be too much, because what if something happened to both of us? Then, I think I am over thinking it. I love all of the jobs, but I do hate being tied to a desk in dispatch. Decisions, decisions!

Anyway, I was just curious if there is anyone else out there in DS land.
